Referencing Requirements

We will in all cases undertake full referencing, which includes:

  • Three years’ address history
  • Employment details
  • Confirmation of earnings
  • If self-employed evidence of the last three years’ account details
  • Current landlord details
  • Your bank account details


The property is only secured once the deposit has been paid.
The deposit is usually between one/two months’ rent and it is held for the duration of the tenancy. This deposit is held as cover for any damages that may occur and need to be repaired at the end of your tenancy.

We protect your deposit with a government-authorised Deposit Protection Service.

We will organise for both you and the landlord to sign the tenancy agreement which sets out the terms of the tenancy. After which, you will be given the keys to your new property.
